# **TendersAlerts — Saudi Government Tenders | MCP Connector** Connect your TendersAlerts account to Claude or any MCP-compatible AI tool, and search, analyse and manage Saudi government tenders directly from the conversation. ## **1. What this connector does** Once your account is connected, the assistant can: - Search Saudi government tenders, filtering by city, activity, agency, tender type and date. - Read the details of a specific tender: owning agency, key dates, contract duration, warranties, SME preference, and the AI summary. - Retrieve the technical specification document (TSD), evaluation criteria, attachment list, and bill of quantities (BOQ). - Analyse the market: concentration, year-on-year trend, competition levels, and median award values. - Analyse a specific vendor's performance: proposals, awards, win rate, price positioning, and how they compare against the vendors who bid on the same tenders. - Read your notification settings, and create, update and archive them. Platform content is primarily Arabic. Some fields can be requested in English via the `locale` parameter. ## **2. How to connect** **Server URL:** `https://api.tendersalerts.com/mcp `The connector is a standard remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP with OAuth 2.1. It works with any MCP-compatible client — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and others. Setup is the same everywhere: paste the server URL, then complete the sign-in. **Claude** - Open **Settings → Connectors**. - Choose **Add custom connector**. - Paste the server URL above. - Click **Connect** — a TendersAlerts authorization page will open. - Sign in and grant permission. **ChatGPT** - Open **Settings → Connectors → Advanced** and enable **Developer mode**. This requires a paid ChatGPT plan; it is not available on Free. - Go to **Settings → Connectors** and create a new custom connector. - Paste the server URL and choose **OAuth** if prompted for an authentication method. - Save, then start a new chat and enable the connector from the tools menu. - Complete the TendersAlerts sign-in when redirected. On Business and Enterprise workspaces, an admin may need to enable custom connectors first. **Other clients** Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and other MCP clients each have their own way of adding a remote server, but all of them need the same two things: the server URL above, and Streamable HTTP as the transport. Consult your client's documentation for where to enter them. **How authorization works:** the connection uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, and supports Dynamic Client Registration, so clients can register themselves without a pre-shared key. Your username and password are never sent to the tool — only an access token linked to your account. **Revoking access:** from your account settings on the platform, or from the connector settings in the tool itself. Access stops immediately. Two tools work without signing in at all (search and taxonomy lookup); the rest require a connected account. ## **4. Example prompts** **Search and filter** > Find open tenders in Riyadh in the IT activity, sorted by the soonest submission deadline. **Read a tender in depth** > Show me the details of tender 260839002113, then summarise the technical specification and the bill of quantities. **Analyse a competitor** > Analyse vendor name's performance in construction tenders across 2025 and 2026: win rate, price positioning, and who they compete against most. **Analyse the market** > How concentrated is the cybersecurity tender market? Show concentration and the year-on-year trend. **Manage notifications** > Show my notification settings, then create a new one for IT tenders in Riyadh region with the keyword "أمن سيبراني". ## **6. When a limit is exceeded, the tool returns a message naming the limit that was hit and how long until you can retry. `initialize` and `tools/list` are not counted against any limit. Data and privacy** - The tool you connect can read the tender data available to your account, and read your notification settings and their associated email address. - It can also **create, update and archive** your notification settings. Approving the connection grants this alongside read access. - It **cannot** access your password, payment data, or identity verification documents. - Once data reaches the tool you chose, it is governed by that provider's privacy policy. - We log requests received through the connector for security purposes and to verify usage limits.
